SAISON INFORMATION SYSTEMS CO., LTD., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Makoto Hayama; hereinafter referred to as Saison Information Systems) began offering an update (No. 2023.3) of its Japanese iPaaS (cloud-based data integration platform) "HULFT Square" on September 25th, in order to promote in-house development for customers and contribute to the realization of DX.
HULFT Square undergoes regular updates every three months, incorporating new features and customer requests. Following on from the update released in May this year (No. 2023.2) which focused on strengthening security for global expansion, this latest update focuses on promoting in-house development for customers and strengthening IT governance in multi-cloud, multi-SaaS environments.
As one of the new features to promote in-house development, we have added an application template function. Although HULFT Square offers no-code development, creating scripts can require trial and error when you are still unfamiliar with the process. To reduce the burden of this trial and error, we have created templates for usable scripts and other files, which we provide in the App Square section of HULFT Square. Customers can install the required application templates in their own environments, change the settings and use them as is, or copy and customize them.
This is a trial feature at the moment, but going forward, we plan to provide application templates at the end of October that can be used to link with SaaS related to legal affairs (workflow x electronic contract system), human resources (human resources management system x talent management), marketing (web access x sales management system), and more.
Update (No. 2023.3) New Features and Improvements
- Application templates (trial features)
You can now install and use safe and secure applications that have been reviewed by our company as templates from "App Square." There is no need to create scripts from scratch. Due to the specifications of HULFT Square, you will need to set up a profile, workspace, connection, etc. - Single sign-on support
In addition to the existing ADFS, we now support single sign-on with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD). You can log in to HULFT Square using your domain credentials. - Audit log improvements
We've added "System Events" and "Login History" to the audit log, allowing you to check user changes and login/logoff. This log can also be automatically compressed and saved to the specified workspace storage, allowing you to download it later. This is a response to the many requests from customers who want to collect logs showing who used the service, when, and how. - Improved logging
We've improved the logging functionality, allowing you to use filters to view only the types of logs you need, and to download logs with more than 10,000 entries for separate viewing. - Application Event Log Filter Improvements
Added "hour, minute, second" to the filter function for viewing application log details and script execution details. Also added "Error" to the log level. - Improved display of organization information
The organization information now displays the customer's "AWS account ID" and the "global IP address" of the customer's HULFT Square environment, which can be used for security measures. - Added status display for HULFT Integrate service
You can now check the usage status of the JVM Non-Heap Memory, CPU, and JVM Heap Memory of the HULFT Integrate service in graphs. Depending on the situation, you can consider restarting the service or scaling up or out. - Adding a Time Zone
We have increased the number of time zones that can be specified when signing a contract. In addition, we have added time zone considerations to date and time constant operations, etc. - Connector Enhancements
In addition to the existing ZIP, GZIP compression and decompression has been added to the file operation connector.
