SAISON INFORMATION SYSTEMS CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Makoto Hayama; hereinafter referred to as Saison Information Systems) began offering HULFT Square, a Japanese iPaaS (cloud-based data integration platform), and an application template to promote the in-house automation of electronic contract systems, on October 31st.
Electronic contracts are becoming the standard method of contracting between companies, and according to the "Corporate IT Utilization Trends Survey"* published by the Japan Institute for Promotion of Digital Economy and Community (JIPDEC), the number of companies using electronic contracts has expanded to 73.9% (survey conducted in January 2023). While there are benefits for employees, such as shortening the lead time for contract conclusion and enabling telecommuting, many people feel that there are still complicated tasks for legal departments and contract managers.

Examples of tedious tasks that still require manual work:
- Set the contract to the electronic contract service after workflow approval
- Save the signed contract data on the in-house server and update the management ledger
- Status update in workflow system after contract completion
System integration with each electronic contract, workflow, and document management tool is necessary to automate these tasks. This time, we provide an application template that links HULFT Square with legal SaaS to facilitate system integration and promote in-house production of customer's operations.
The application templates available from October 31st are for Atread Co., Ltd.'s AgileWorks (workflow) and Bengo4.com Co., Ltd.'s CloudSign® (electronic contract).

Linking the electronic contract system with HULFT Square
The electronic contract system is responsible for adding signature fields to contract image data, sending it to business partners, managing the signature status, and saving the contract image data. By linking with HULFT Square, it becomes possible to automatically send (bulk send) to business partners after approval and archive it in a document management system.
