"HULFT Square" updated (No. 2024.1) Adds SFTP service, trigger function, and more

Saison Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Makoto Hayama; hereinafter "Saison Technology") has updated its Japanese iPaaS (cloud-based data integration platform) "HULFT Square" (No. 2024.1). The application's functionality has been enhanced, allowing customers to quickly respond to their system needs by adding various extensions as needed, without having to wait for an update to HULFT Square itself. Furthermore, in addition to sales in North America and Europe since last year, full-scale sales will now begin in the ASEAN region.

Until now, ETL workflows used in real business required arranging numerous script icons on the canvas, compiling, building, and registering services, which took a considerable amount of time to execute. This has led to a demand for reusability of workflows and scripts.

HULFT Square packages workflows and scripts and treats them as a single application, increasing portability and allowing them to be used as templates. These are provided in "App Square" within HULFT Square and can be shared within customers' companies. In the future, we are also considering implementing a marketplace-like function that will allow various functions to be added regardless of the timing of HULFT Square updates, and that will allow customers to share their own unique functions with each other.

<SFTP service>

The SFTP server is now available on the HULFT Square platform. Install it in your own environment from App Square, and run it by allocating CPU and memory within the resource range of your contract.

*A separate option contract is required to use the SFTP service.

By using the SFTP service, customers can receive file transfer from external parties to HULFT Square via SFTP communication. Since the received files are stored in HULFT Square storage, it is also possible to use file event jobs to execute scripts triggered by file reception.

The SFTP service will be provided as a "native application" that runs as a service on HULFT Square platform. Going forward, in addition to HULFT Integrate script templates, various other services will be released sequentially.

<Expanded trigger conditions>

The application function, which allows customers to distribute scripts they have created as easy-to-reuse templates, now supports the creation of trigger conditions such as file event jobs and REST API jobs in addition to the existing schedule jobs. It also supports the creation of applications that execute multiple trigger conditions in combination.

*Support for multiple trigger conditions for REST API jobs is planned for a future release.

With this update, you can now distribute ad hoc processing triggered by a file event job and batch processing triggered by a scheduled job as a single application template, thereby streamlining a wider range of operations.
