Accelerating sustainability management by donating 1% of operating profits

Today, Saison Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Makoto Hayama; hereinafter referred to as "Saison Technology") announced that it has donated approximately 1% of its operating profit for fiscal year 2023 to nine organizations engaged in activities related to the company's mission and materiality (important issues) in order to accelerate sustainability management.

We view our charitable organizations as experts with knowledge of our priority issues, and strive to further understand the issues and foster mutual trust by inviting them to employee talk events, visiting their facilities, and participating in training sessions.

1. Eliminating the digital divide for the visually impaired in line with the mission "Connect the world’s data and make it useful for everyone." (2 organizations, total of 2.4 million yen)
   Aiming to eliminate the digital divide for the visually impaired, we continued to make donations to the Japan Braille Library and the Japan Vocational Development Center for the Visually Impaired, both social welfare organizations, following on from last year.
2. Eliminating economic and experience disparities in line with the materiality "people" (5 organizations, total of approximately 4.1 million yen)
   This year, we will continue to contribute to eliminating the experience gap by supporting free children's camps run by the Public Interest Foundation Asunoba. In addition, in collaboration with our overseas bases, we will continue to support activities aimed at eliminating child poverty implemented by Samaritan House in the US, Child Poverty Action Group in the UK, Children's Wishing Well in Singapore, and Equitable Education Fund in Thailand.
3. Support for natural resources and safe and secure living in accordance with the materiality "environment" (2 organizations, total of approximately 3.3 million yen)
   Based on our ongoing partnership with Conservation International, we have decided to support a new whale shark conservation project that utilizes satellite tagging data, which is highly compatible with our data-driven business. This year, we will also be donating to As You Sow, which encourages companies and investors to work towards a sustainable and fair society.
