Hitachi Systems, Ltd. (Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Setsuo Shibahara; hereinafter "Hitachi Systems") and SAISON INFORMATION SYSTEMS CO., LTD. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Makoto Hayama; hereinafter "Saison Information Systems") are combining Hitachi Systems' "Gateway for Business Cloud," a group of managed services that systematizes the various services required for efficiently building and operating a multi-cloud environment, with Saison Information Systems' "HULFT Square," a Japanese iPaaS (cloud-based data integration platform) with the aim of promoting the use of cloud and SaaS necessary for customers' digital transformation.
This will enable financial institutions and many other customers who use HULFT in on-premises environments to quickly build an AWS environment for implementing HULFT Square. In addition, because Gateway for Business Cloud can also be used for services other than building AWS environments, it will be possible to provide a flexible and stable data integration platform tailored to customer needs.
[Collaboration overview and benefits]
Saison Information Systems' "HULFT Square" is a tool that streamlines the integration of SaaS and on-premise systems, as well as data integration between multiple SaaS systems. Saison Information Systems has now concluded a distributorship agreement for "HULFT Square" with Hitachi Systems, which has sold "HULFT" to over 3,500 companies, enabling Hitachi Systems to offer "HULFT Square" in combination with its "Gateway for Business Cloud" service.
For customers currently using HULFT in an on-premises environment who wish to file transfer to SaaS, HULFT Square will be available as a one-stop service for the environment and operational monitoring. This will enable conversion functions to be implemented for each SaaS service used without coding, reducing the man-hours and costs required for data integration and making it possible to flexibly respond to the wide-ranging needs of customers considering implementing HULFT Square, including security support.
Hitachi Systems and Saison Information Systems will support the digital transformation of customers who want to achieve data integration in a multi-cloud environment.
About Gateway for Business Cloud
This is a group of managed services that systematize the various services required to efficiently build and operate a multi-cloud environment and solve customer issues. Based on the multi-cloud environment know-how that Hitachi Systems has cultivated to date, this multi-cloud solution features various services that support the implementation and operation of security and cloud, services that comply with industry guidelines, and business analysis and improvement proposals based on data analysis.

HULFT Square is an iPaaS (cloud-based data integration platform) from Japan that supports "data preparation for data utilization" and "data integration connecting business systems," which are necessary for DX realization. It enables data integration the management of various data that is distributed and managed in on-premise, cloud, SaaS, and other environments across business systems, industries, and countries/regions.
Furthermore, Saison Information Systems has created a platform concept to realize this data integration, which will realize data integration across six categories by collaborating with partners and combining Saison Information Systems' own services.
