Accelerating sustainability management through 1% of operating profit donations

Saison Technology Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Makoto Hayama; hereinafter referred to as "Saison Technology") has donated approximately 21.3 million yen, equivalent to approximately 1% of its operating profit for fiscal year 2024, to a total of 12 organizations in order to accelerate sustainability management. The organizations are engaged in activities related to the company's mission and materiality (important issues).

We view our recipient organizations as experts with knowledge of our priority issues, and strive to further understand the issues and foster mutual trust through facility visits, training participation, one-day pro bono programs, and other means.

1. In line with the mission of "Connect the world’s data and make it useful for everyone.," we are supporting efforts to eliminate the digital divide for the visually impaired, as well as IT education for elementary, junior high, and high school students and women (4 organizations, total of 9.9 million yen).
   Aiming to eliminate the digital divide for the visually impaired, we have continued to donate to the Japan Braille Library and the Japan Vocational Development Center for the Visually Impaired, as we did last year. We will also contribute to the future IT society and elimination of the gender gap in the technology field by supporting the NPO Code for Everyone, which promotes programming education for the next generation, and the NPO Waffle, which provides IT training programs for female students.
2. Eliminating economic and experience disparities in line with the materiality "people" (5 organizations, total of approximately 4.19 million yen)
   One of the problems arising from economic disparity is inequality in opportunities for experience and learning. As in the previous fiscal year, we will continue to contribute to eliminating the experience gap by supporting a free children's camp run by the public interest foundation Asunoba. In addition, in collaboration with our overseas bases, we will continue to support activities aimed at eliminating child poverty, such as Samaritan House in the US, Child Poverty Action Group in the UK, Children's Wishing Well in Singapore, and Equitable Education Fund in Thailand.
3. Support for natural resource conservation activities in line with the materiality "Environment" (3 organizations, total of approximately 7.21 million yen)
   We will now support forest conservation activities in Japan through the National Land Afforestation Promotion Organization, a public interest incorporated association. We will also continue to support forest conservation and freshwater ecosystem conservation projects in Cambodia, where biodiversity loss is progressing, in our ongoing partnership with Conservation International, and contribute to As You Sow, a US organization that encourages companies and investors to work toward a sustainable and fair society.
