Saison Technology Co., Ltd.
Saison Technology Co., Ltd. has released a case study of Lock Field Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Lock Field) using "HULFT" and "DataMagic" for data integration between systems during the migration of its logistics system to the cloud.
As Lock Field moved its mission-critical system, core system to the cloud, it utilized "HULFT" and "DataMagic" for data integration between different systems, enabling the migration of its logistics systems to the cloud without modifying the linked systems.
background
As a leading company in the ready-to-eat food market, Rock Field, which operates various prepared food brands, is pursuing added value for its existing brands and strengthening store services, while also aiming to expand into new areas such as the frozen food brand "RFFF (Rufufufu)". With the vision of "Unlocking the possibilities of food and co-creating a prosperous future. SUSTAINABLE FOOD COMPANY", the company is also focusing on strengthening energy conservation measures and reducing environmental impact in order to realize sustainable food abundance. One of the company's strengths is that it covers everything from production and logistics to sales, and delivers products manufactured in its own factories to stores nationwide, in order to be particular about safety, security, taste, and freshness.
The company has been promoting digital transformation (DX) for the past five years, and the system infrastructure supporting its business model has also evolved to be more flexible in responding to business changes. In particular, the infrastructure has been gradually moved to the cloud with the aim of improving business continuity, and the migration of the logistics system had already been decided.
Realizing data integration through the use of "HULFT" and "DataMagic"
Lock Field had built its logistics system on on-premises servers, but due to aging hardware, they decided to migrate to the cloud. The logistics system supports everything from ordering to production and logistics, working in conjunction with a sales management system that stores use to order necessary products and a production management system that manages the production process at the factory. The challenge was how to integrate it with the sales management system, which had already been migrated to the cloud, without incurring the time and cost of modifications.
The company had previously used "HULFT" to connect its mission-critical system, core system and combined it with "DataMagic," and had confidence in its stability and ease of use. For data integration with the logistics system, they switched to a version of "DataMagic" that was compatible with the new environment. In the CSV file integration, they implemented fine adjustments in "DataMagic," such as excluding unused items from the CSV and removing any unexpected data added at the end. They then achieved data integration by calling data conversion as a task in "HULFT" and executing it automatically. They also cited the following benefits of using "HULFT" and "DataMagic":
- data integration is supported without modifying the partner system.
- The tool offers high usability, making it easy to adjust and process even the smallest details.
- When combined with "HULFT," it supports automated execution, enabling stable data transfer and processing.

For data integration between mission-critical system, core system, HULFT × DataMagic is the only option.
I want to continue using it even if the environment changes; it's stable and easy to use.
