Features of HULFT 10

Managed File Transfer(MFT)

What is HULFT, the safe, secure, and reliable file integration middleware?

Reliability, reliability, wide range of OS support, automation

HULFT is file sharing middleware that sends and receives data generated in corporate activities, such as sales data, customer information, and log data stored in IT systems. It offers a variety of functions, including character code conversion, so that it can be used as the foundation of business systems, and safely and reliably delivers a variety of files across different servers, platforms, and code systems using the industry-standard TCP/IP protocol.

Achieve standardization of file sharing within and between companies with a wide range of supported operating systems

HULFT automates file sharing with not only Windows, Linux, and UNIX, but also z/OS and mid-range computers such as IBM i, enabling seamless data integration with various business applications both within and between companies.

Automate the processes required for file transfer without developing from scratch

HULFT was developed based on the idea that various processes required for file transfer can be absorbed through HULFT settings.
HULFT eliminates the need for scratch development that occurs with FTP, enabling safe and reliable automation of file transfer.

Encryption function included as standard

To ensure the safe transfer of your data, HULFT implements encryption of transferred data as standard. You can choose from two encryption methods: HULFT Encryption or AES (optional product).

Prevents data transfer from being intercepted, leaked, lost, or altered

Uses a unique secret key encryption method
Transferred data can be encrypted using a 160-bit secret key method for each file ID. Transfers over the network are also made using a proprietary protocol. To further enhance security, the AES encryption method, certified by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), is supported. *

  • To use AES encryption, a separate encryption option is required.

Improved accuracy of data verification
By creating a hash value from the transferred data and verifying the data, the integrity of the data received during file transfer and the data sent at the time of send can be verified, and missing or altered data can be detected.

Identifying and preventing unauthorized access and operational errors

Automatically manage detailed operation history
HULFT automatically manages file access logs and command execution logs.
A detailed operation history of "who did what, when" can be recorded.

Strengthening data security and access control
To further strengthen measures against data leaks on the network, we have strengthened the security of internal data communications. HULFT access rights settings are linked to OS permission settings, enabling strict access control.

Controlling the acceptance of job execution requests
Job requests and file transfer can be controlled on a host-by-host basis by configuring the host that accepts the requests.

Strengthening security of transmission routes through collaboration with "HULFT-HUB"

Secure and speedy transfer
If you use "HULFT-HUB" as a proxy, there is no need to change firewall or forwarding relay settings!
It eliminates the processing load, time loss, and risk of information leakage caused by generating intermediate files.

Expanding the scope of use

①Wide coverage from on-premise to IaaS and containers

It continues to support platforms such as mainframes, mid-range computers, UNIX, Linux, and Windows, and also supports container environments, allowing it to be used in a wider range of environments.

② Eliminate bottlenecks in systems with high loads

By using "HULFT10 Smart Proxy" and "HULFT 10 API Gateway," which can be used to build load balancing configurations, you can eliminate bottlenecks in high-load systems.

3. A screen that is easy to use even for first-time users

Usability has been improved to allow for intuitive operation.
It uses a web interface that is easy for anyone to use.

Improved operability

①Improved transfer performance and reduced CPU usage

The open platform uses the new compression method "Zstandard," which improves transfer performance by approximately 1.4 times compared to previous models. In addition, zOS uses "zEDC," which improves transfer speed by approximately 5 times and reduces CPU usage by 70%, contributing to cost reduction.

② Cost optimization through pay-as-you-go billing

Container-compatible products use a pay-as-you-go system where you pay for the time you actually use them.We also offer an annual fee model that is designed for large-scale use, so you can choose the model that best suits your needs.

3) HULFT operation monitoring and transfer control via REST API

Using the REST API, you can monitor HULFT operations and control transfers from the cloud. In addition to being able to integrate and manage HULFT distributed on-premise and on-cloud, you can also link with HULFT Square, DataSpider, and external services.

Enhanced security

① Data is encrypted using a module that has obtained FIPS140-2 certification

The HULFT 10 Cipher Option (AES) is certified with the FIPS140-2 benchmark, which is widely adopted by government and non-government organizations around the world, and encrypts transferred data to enable secure file transfers.

②Protect credit card information and transaction information

It implements a function to irreversibly delete transferred data, helping the system comply with the data security standard "PCI DSS v4.0."

3. Supports network environments including the Internet

We offer "HULFT10 Smart Proxy," which securely relays data between on-premise and cloud services via the Internet. It also implements TLS encryption using the WebSocket protocol.
