Data processing and conversion tools

Functions and Features

Optional Features

DB linkage function

Supports integration with DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, ODBC, etc. All DataMagic functions, such as external character conversion, numerical calculations, extraction condition settings, field swapping, and merging, can be used in the same way as with other file formats.

Settings can be made according to the user's skill and operation level, from simple to complex.

Both input (query: SELECT) and output (insertion: INSERT, update: UPDATE, etc.) can be easily set by simply selecting a table. It supports input and output using SQL statements specified by the user, and detailed settings are also possible, such as continuing with UPDATE if INSERT fails.

Executes SQL before and after input/output processing, and is equipped with a set of functions that enable more advanced database integration

With DataMagic, you can drop and recreate a table before outputting, insert large amounts of data, and then set indexes. Even such advanced database integration is possible with our diverse range of functions and configuration capabilities.

Excel link function

You can import and export any specified items from Excel files in multiple different formats. By combining Excel functions and DB integration functions, you can automate the process of registering Excel data in a DB.

Manager Unlimited connection function

This option removes the limit on the number of simultaneous connections from DataMagic Manager. By default, five simultaneous connections are allowed, but if you want to allow more than that, you need this option.
