- Information security indicators related to services are continuously evaluated by a third party -
Saison Technology Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Makoto Hayama; hereinafter referred to as Saison Technology) received the SOC2 Type 2 assurance report, an international security certification for internal controls, for its Japanese iPaaS cloud-based data integration platform, HULFT Square, on October 31, 2024. This follows the SOC2 Type 1 assurance report, which was received on July 15, 2023, as the reference date.
The purpose of receiving this SOC2 Type 2 assurance report is to ensure that customers can use the service safely and securely by having an external auditor provide a third-party assessment that the security requirements of the HULFT Square system continue to meet international standards.
Saison Technology will continue to strengthen its internal control system and further evolve its data integration services in line with its mission of "Connect the world’s data and make it useful for everyone.."
Overview of the "SOC2 Type 2 Assurance Report" on "HULFT Square"
The SOC2 Type 2 assurance report we recently received is a third-party assessment by an external auditor of the design of internal controls related to "security," which is part of the Trust Service Standards established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

About the SOC Report
SOC stands for "System and Organization Controls" and is issued in accordance with standards established by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). The report contains information that serves as proof that your company can confirm that there are no compliance violations in the work that other companies entrust to it. It is used in the accounting world and was created by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
There are three types of SOC reports: SOC1, SOC2, and SOC3. SOC2, which many companies aim to obtain, focuses on a company's information security and evaluates five indicators: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
Additionally, Type 2 SOC reports evaluate the operation and effectiveness of an organization's controls over a period of time. Unlike Type 1, which evaluates the existence and effectiveness of controls at a specific point in time, Type 2 reports are useful for strengthening trust with customers by demonstrating the actual operating status and reliability of the controls.
