Saison Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Makoto Hayama; hereinafter referred to as Saison Technology) will begin offering its on-premises data integration platform, DataSpider Servista 5, on February 9, 2026.
This product is a major upgrade of DataSpider Servista, an EAI/ETL *1 package product that allows for the development of data integration processes without programming, and can interconnect data scattered across various systems, including legacy systems and cloud services in the on-premises environments of companies from small to large.

In recent years, as companies have been promoting digital transformation (DX), there has been a growing trend towards cloud lift and cloud shift, which involve migrating IT systems to cloud environments, as well as the introduction of various SaaS solutions tailored to each business.However, the reality is that many companies continue to operate Linux and Windows server applications in closed network environments within their own companies due to security policies regarding the handling of data and traditional mission-critical systems such as mainframes and minicomputers.
In this environment, IT systems are becoming more complex due to the coexistence of modern environments such as cloud and SaaS with traditional on-premise environments, and with data scattered across various systems, the barriers between systems and networks pose a challenge to utilizing data.
DataSpider Servista 5, which is based on the concept of moving from "creating" to "connecting," provides strong support for companies' data utilization as a data integration platform that loosely connects data from systems that are currently scattered within a company.
Overview of "DataSpider Servista 5"
"DataSpider Servista" is a data integration platform that connects various types of systems, such as clouds, SaaS, business applications, and databases, without programming or coding, without having to worry about differences in system connection methods or data formats. As an application in an on-premises environment, it connects to various systems, including clouds, databases, and applications, using approximately 50 adapters, and exchanges large volumes of data at high speed.
DataSpider Servista 5 has undergone a major upgrade from Ver. 4 to Ver. 5, with a revamped user interface for the Java execution platform and development environment, improving usability and performance, as well as strengthening security.
The features of "DataSpider Servista 5" are as follows:
- The platform has been updated to Java 21, optimizing internal processing and improving memory management to improve stability when processing large amounts of data and when multiple simultaneous connections are used.
- The latest Windows 11-based design has been adopted for development clients, improving usability, and the software has been integrated into the web version, "DataSpider Studio for Web."
Furthermore, from version 5.x onwards, we will further strengthen integration with HULFT Square, a cloud-based data integration platform (iPaaS), to strengthen data integration between legacy systems and modern data stacks and provide consistent data management, including AI and data utilization.Specifically, we plan to enhance functionality such as data lineage and metadata management, automatic script creation using generative AI, and data item mapping recommendations, as well as standardizing the user interface between DataSpider Servista and HULFT Square, and enabling login and log management via HULFT Square.
