Saison Technology Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Makoto Hayama; hereinafter "Saison Technology") is pleased to announce that on June 12, 2024, it has signed an agreement to invest US$10 million as a limited partner in the 4th US Fund (hereinafter "Fund") managed by DNX Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in B2B startups primarily in North America and Japan.
Saison Technology's mission is to "Connect the world’s data and make it useful for everyone." and we are working to expand our data integration business through our products and services. HULFT, one of the products and services offered by Saison Technology, has been adopted by over 10,000 companies and has become the de facto standard for data integration software in Japan. Furthermore, HULFT Square, a Japanese iPaaS service launched in 2023, is beginning to see widespread adoption both domestically and internationally. To achieve our mission through these products and services, Saison Technology believes it is necessary to increase its exposure to cutting-edge technology through external collaborations in addition to its own internal activities, thereby incorporating technology and know-how into its products and services and ultimately providing value to its customers. To achieve this, we have defined the technology areas that Saison Technology should incorporate into our three horizons*.
Through its investment in this fund, Saison Technology will collaborate with AI and SaaS startups in North America and Europe, actively incorporating cutting-edge technologies into its own products and services, and will support their success by providing knowledge in the field of data integration. Furthermore, the experience gained from interacting with startups and promoting collaboration will also contribute to the development of the next generation of talent.
