SAISON INFORMATION SYSTEMS CO., LTD. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director, President & CEO: Makoto Hayama, hereinafter referred to as "Saison Information Systems") will change its trade name to "Saison Technology Co., Ltd." (English notation: Saison Technology Co., Ltd.) on April 1, 2024, following the approval of the proposal at the 54th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held today.
Society as a whole is undergoing major change, and promoting digital transformation (DX) is widely recognized as an urgent issue. Against this backdrop, in April 2023, we formulated our new mission: "Connect the world’s data and make it useful for everyone.." Based on this mission, and based on the technical capabilities and track record we have cultivated since our founding in 1970, as well as our pride in the infinite possibilities of technology, this change in our trade name reflects our determination to further develop and deliver to society the value we have provided at the forefront.
Makoto Hayama, Representative Director, President and CEO, said, "We have played a role in supporting society and industry through the development of mission-critical systems and software such as HULFT, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year. Through this name change, we would like to reaffirm to our customers, partners, and everyone else that we are a company that places importance on technology, and we intend to continue to contribute technologically to the prosperous society that lies beyond DX. We hope that you will continue to place your expectations and support on Saison Information Systems, now known as Saison Technology, as we continue to take on new challenges."
With this change in our trade name, we will further accelerate our efforts to implement technologies that will pave the way for the future, including investing in cutting-edge technology, businesses, and human resources.
