Five of our engineers selected for four categories in AWS award programs - Two also receive awards from the global AWS Ambassadors program -

On June 25th, Amazon Web Services Japan announced the winners of the following four programs, selected based on their expertise and track record with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Five Saison Technology engineers were selected for all four programs.

In particular, the AWS Ambassadors program selects around 300 people from around the world who are certified by AWS as having technical skills and cloud expertise. In addition to Hayato Kosugi, who will continue to receive the program from 2024, Naoki Ishihara was awarded the program for the first time.

The winners and number of awards for each program are as follows:

  • AWS Ambassadors
    Naoki Ishihara (first time elected)
    Hayato Kosugi (Continuing from 2024)
  • 2025 Japan AWS Top Engineers (AI/ML Data Engineer):
    Naoki Ishihara (2nd time in a row)
    2025 Japan AWS Top Engineers (Software):
    Hayato Kosugi (7th time in a row)
  • 2025 Japan AWS Jr. Champions
    Natsumi Aoki
    Kanjiro Shima
  • 2025 Japan All AWS Certifications Engineers
    Chiharu Tsuboi (2nd time in a row)
    Naoki Ishihara (first time elected)
    Hayato Kosugi (4th time in a row)

As part of our efforts to strengthen our technology, we are focusing on developing engineers who can support their own growth by creating a learning cycle through input and output. We aim to improve skills by supporting information dissemination activities, encouraging participation in external communities, and providing career counseling. These activities played a role in our receiving this award, and we will continue to accelerate our efforts to further strengthen our technological capabilities.
