• 3. DataSpider products do not offer transitional licenses. For licensing guidelines regarding parallel system operation, please refer to the DataSpider Servista License Policy.

Perpetual

This is a method of purchasing a perpetual license to use the product.
However, for group company use and service use licensed after April 1, 2020, there are separate terms and conditions for termination of the license.
Technical support services are not included and must be purchased separately.

Term license (monthly license)

This is a method of purchasing the right to use a product for a specific period of time.
Term licenses (monthly usage licenses) include product usage rights and technical support services.

• Term licenses (monthly usage licenses) cannot be upgraded. Please purchase a new term license (monthly usage license) for the new version after the usage period of your current term license (monthly usage license) expires.

Fixed Term License

This is a term license that allows you to use the product for a specific period of time.
You can only use it for the period you specified at the time of purchase.
The start and end dates must be between the 1st and the last day of the month, and the start date cannot be a day in the middle of the month.

• The name of Fixed Term License for DataSpider Servista, PIMSYNC, and Thunderbus is "Monthly License & Support."
• HULFT-WebConnect is an annual contract.

Transition Period License

This is a term license that applies when you temporarily run systems in parallel due to system migration, etc.
A transitional license purchase allows you to increase your usage rights by the same amount for a specific period of time.

• (1) Usage period
  • Applicable to: HULFT8, HULFT-HUB, HULFT-WebFileTransfer, DataMagic
  • Purchases can be made in monthly increments, starting from a 3-month supply. If parallel operation is within 60 days, the free period applies and no transitional license purchase is required. If parallel operation continues for 60 days or more, the free period will not apply and you will need to purchase a transitional license for the duration of parallel operation.
    * For example, if you plan to use the service between April 15th and June 20th, you will need a 3-month transitional license.
  • Target: HULFT 10
  • It can be purchased in monthly increments. If the license application period is 60 days or less, it will be provided free of charge. No application is required. If the license application period is 60 days or more, please apply for a transitional period license.
    *If you use the service between April 15th and June 20th, you will need a one-month transition period license.
• (2) Important points to note when purchasing
  • Purchase of a transitional license requires subscription to the technical support service for the original license.
  • The service level of the technical support service (standard support/24-hour support) will be governed by technical support agreement of the original license.
  • Please purchase the transitional license from the technical support service provider of the original license.
