What is BI?

BI (Business Intelligence) is the process of analyzing and processing the large amounts of data that companies have collected and accumulated, enabling them to make decisions as an organization based on that data.

The data that is targeted varies from company to company, including sales data, customer data, employee data, etc. If a company incorporates BI into its business activities, it can analyze the data that accumulates daily and, from the results, gain insights that are useful for planning strategies and solving problems related to management, sales, marketing, etc.

To actually put BI into practice and operate it efficiently, it is common to use BI tools, which are tools that perform data analysis and help make decisions easier for an organization.
