「CX」

We will explain the meaning of CX (C-X).

What is CX?

CX is an abbreviation for Customer Experience. In Japanese, it is often translated as "customer experience." CX means evaluating the emotions and satisfaction customers feel when using a product or service, apart from quantitative values such as performance, functionality, and price.

For example, the evaluation will look at how customers feel and are satisfied during the process of purchasing a product, the process of using a service including support, and the post-purchase process including after-care and follow-up.

The reason why CX is important is that providing a good CX is thought to lead to customers having a favorable impression and trust in products, services, and companies, which in turn improves customer satisfaction and loyalty. Improved customer satisfaction leads to an increase in repeat customers, which can be expected to improve a company's brand value. It is also thought to lead to differentiation from other companies and increased sales.
