「RFID」

We will explain the meaning of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification).

What is RFID?

RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is an abbreviation for Radio Frequency Identification. It is a system that uses radio waves to read information without contact, and is becoming increasingly popular as a new automatic identification technology to replace barcodes and other methods.

Radio waves are used to communicate wirelessly between an electronic tag called an RFID tag (also called an IC tag or RF tag) and a reading device called an RFID reader (also called an RFID reader/writer), allowing information to be read or rewritten.

The distinctive feature of RFID is that it can read information without contact, even from a distance of several meters or from outside a cardboard box, etc. Passive RFID tags do not require batteries and can be used for a long time. In addition, the amount of information that can be sent and received is larger than that of barcodes, and data can be rewritten.

A typical example of RFID implementation is the self-checkouts at major apparel stores, where the total purchase amount is instantly displayed when a customer places an item on the register. RFID is also being introduced in logistics centers and other locations.

The ultimate "connecting" tool: data integration software "DataSpider" and data integration platform "HULFT Square"

"DataSpider," data integration tool developed and sold by our company, is a "connecting" tool with a long history of success. "HULFT Square," a data integration platform, is a "connecting" cloud service developed using DataSpider technology.

Another feature is that development can be done using only the GUI (no code) without writing code like in regular programming, so business staff who have a good understanding of their company's business can take the initiative to use it.

Try outDataSpider/ HULFT Square 's "connecting" technology:

There are many simple collaboration tools on the market, but this tool can be used with just a GUI, is easy enough for even non-programmers to use, and has "high development productivity" and "full-fledged performance that can serve as the foundation for business (professional use)."

It can smoothly solve the problem of "connecting disparate systems and data" that hinders successful IT utilization. We offer a free trial version and online seminars where you can try it out for free, so we hope you will give it a try.
