What is a neural network?

A neural network is a technology created by combining mathematical models that mimic the function of nerve cells (neurons) in the human brain. The human brain is made up of a neural circuit network made up of a combination of nerve cells, and information is processed using this neural circuit network. A neural network is a computer application of the brain's information processing mechanism, modeled after this information processing mechanism.

Neural networks excel at pattern recognition, extracting, classifying, and recognizing characteristic patterns from data such as images, audio, and text.
