"DX Report"

We will explain the meaning of the DX Report.

What is the DX Report?

The DX (Digital Transformation) Report is a report on DX published based on the content of discussions at the "Study Group for Digital Transformation" established by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The first "DX Report - Overcoming the IT System '2025 Cliff' and Full-Scale Deployment of DX" was released in 2018, followed by "DX Report 2 (Interim Summary)" and "DX Report 2.1 (DX Report 2 Supplement)."

The report presents a vision of the future digital society and scenarios for realizing DX. Published in 2018, the report shocked many business leaders by suggesting that if DX does not progress, economic losses of up to 12 trillion yen per year could occur over the five years from 2025 (the 2025 cliff). The continued use of aging, complex legacy IT systems is cited as a factor in the proposal for the 2025 cliff.

However, the report's main focus is to clarify the concept of DX and the path to achieving it. The report states that the essence of DX is to use digital technology to transform the entire business and create new value.

Another feature is that development can be done using only the GUI (no code) without writing code like in regular programming, so business staff who have a good understanding of their company's business can take the initiative to use it.

Try outDataSpider/ HULFT Square 's "connecting" technology:

There are many simple collaboration tools on the market, but this tool can be used with just a GUI, is easy enough for even non-programmers to use, and has "high development productivity" and "full-fledged performance that can serve as the foundation for business (professional use)."

It can smoothly solve the problem of "connecting disparate systems and data" that hinders successful IT utilization. We offer a free trial version and online seminars where you can try it out for free, so we hope you will give it a try.
